Beta 0.2

Update Update Update

I've gone ahead and translated the popup boxes you see during gameplay. Thanks to my friend Konna who did the hard work, missions are now 100% Moonspeak free and thus, essentially, ends my translation project, unless anyone finds any big errors or whatever in it and gets to me. Enjoy everyone.

      Should be working now. My own goof. Feel free to rehost it or mirror it or whatever anywhere. That goes for anyone reading too. I think pretty much everyone who is going to get this has got it though.

      I do check comments all the time though, just as a heads up to anyone reading having tech problems or download issues. I'm also incredibly vein and egotistic about my single contribution to the world so I will literally bend over backwards to help you out for a modicum, nay, a micosom of praise!

    I'm trying to put the patch in xbmc, but I can't find the Metal Wolf Chaos folder. Where can I find it?

      That'd depend on where you installed it, I imagine. Did you download/rip the disc to your Xbox hard drive? If so, just extract the patch and then copy it over to the same folder as the extracted disc image, overwriting any files as you do.

      Right, if you're playing from a disc, it won't work. Well, actually, if you're just burning the ISO you could rip the ISO, copy the patch files, rebuild the ISO then burn it. Should work fine. If you're playing an original copy of MWC, first off, lucky you, and secondly, no, you won't be able to use the patch.

    Hi NemsMole. Metal Wolf Chaos XD use the XBOX iso filesystem as a base for the remastered version and the multi-5 official translation use the same files as the original japanese text.

    Of course you have probably move on but is there any chance that you could take a look for a new translation using the new text assets?

    XD itself work on the original XBOX, using the original executable packed with the game, but text is totally messed up in the menus and ingame.
